The occupiers of this home had completely forgotten what conservatory living was like until we arrived armed with the astonishing hybrid tiled roof. Incorporating the hybrid tiled roof has enabled them to get endless use out of their old conservatory again. It was manufactured using special lightweight tiles/slates and comes with two rectangular glazed sections. While we did that we also added those unmistakably attractive Georgian bars to the design and fitted spotlights into the perimeter ceiling so that conservatory usage doesn’t have to end once the sun goes down.
It’s immensely spacious inside and the space has been cleverly used so that some room still remains unoccupied to make in and around the extension easy. Most meals are now consumed in the conservatory and the French doors are operated on a regular basis when the weather outside is glorious enough to enable the family to make a quick escape.
The double opening of the French doors also comes in useful for ventilating the conservatory if it’s not cool enough and the top opening windows serve the same purpose. We think the UltraRoof needs to take all the credit though for how this Gable conservatory has once again become an integral part of the house.
